Just Fur Kicks or JFK for short is a collaborative effort between l_hiver & 
thunder-strike
Together we make and design all the products!
We run our business in Maryland and attend a few conventions here and there as well.
We are struggling college grads with dreams as big as the sky.
We love furries and cosplayers the like and we're always growing and changing all the time!

Updates To JFK 01/19/17 (G)
9 years agoA word from L'Hiver...
I am actively working on getting things set back up on FA. I wanted to let everyone know or any future commissioners know where we stand as a business and how we do things has changed. This will be a permanent journal and will be updated when things change.
First, the way we handle commissions and inquires about ordering will be different.
-All orders for all custom fursuit parts including tails and such must be done through Etsy.
-I will no longer be responding to notes on this account and will be turning off the note system.
-If you need to reach me: Contact me on my FA account l_hiver, e-mail : lhiver.shinigami[at]gmail.com or through Etsy.
Second, quotes will remain open year round unless stated other wise.
-Quotes for projects pretty much are always open. But slots are limited depending on the project.
3rd: I am limiting how many Fursuit heads/partials I take on at a time.
-I no longer will take on more than 1 Fursuit (head/partial) at a time. I need that project to be my only focus as it will take me several months to complete.
-We're still down a worker and can no longer handle more than 1 fursuit (head/partial) at a time.
4th important misc changes that should be noted:
-This page will be a gallery of completed items with professional quality pictures. My other account l_hiver will have more WIP shots and other random pieces I also may cross post things there.
-Shipping is two days a week: Wednesday and Saturday via USPS unless stated other wise.
-Current turn around /completion time for orders is 2-3 weeks for tails and small orders.
-Best way to reach me is through e-mail.
-Last but not least I WORK!! and I have a family to contend with. Please understand this. Fursuit making is a hobby for me not my career. Sometimes I can miss a drop off date for the post office or not respond right away. It does not mean that I am ignoring you!

I would like to elaborate about Etsy. I know some people do not like the idea of it and such because you have to make an account and what not. But let me tell you that its in your benefit should you want to order from us!
Why? -It keeps your payment info private and you have more ways to pay. No fees to join. We can send you WIP pictures from our phones! Your questions about an order go right to my cell phone for fast response times. You can leave reviews and read ones already left and it keeps your order on track!
I use Etsy to keep my commissions moving along and in order. Period. It has made a world of difference to me and I plan on continuing to use it for the foreseeable future.
