It has been a year, hasn't it?

While nowhere near as bad as 2024 was for me, 2025 was a year of change, some bad, some good. I'm not going to talk about personal stuff, but I feel like I'm coming out of '25 stronger than ever, and I'm wanting to be a bit more communicative next year, so I may as well start now!

Through 2025 I was mostly focused on getting my backlog cleared, and that's going to be continue being the focus in January, though the end is in sight. After that, I'm going to be focusing on personal work for a bit, I have some big stories cooking that I want focus on, and a whole world I want to introduce as well. That's going to need some focus, both on editing and on the actual writing. (But mostly the editing, that's the hard part!) This isn't the end of my shorter stuff, as I have a Patreon (did you know?) and I want to keep uploads at lest somewhat monthly there.

And that's also where most of my 2025 work is, it's on Patreon, languishing there without being uploaded here, as that takes some effort. However, in 2026 I want to at least try and get out a story every month, and upload at least one piece of art. I can't promise they'll have stories, but there will at least be some lore/writing talking about context/something to read, even if it's just a few sentences. There's a lot of backlog, so be ready for that! Stories will still be uploaded to Patreon first, and then get uploaded here eventually. Even then, I think I have one big story that may be done before 2025 wraps up.

I want to try and make these monthly as well. Talk about the month, what I've been working on, talk some lore for my worlds, in general just show more life signs. I'll probably title them "Month In Review" or some boring title like that. We'll see!

TLDR: More stories and art posting in 2026, big personal projects as the focus, more active posting, especially journals.
