Hello and welcome to my page! I hope you enjoy your time here.
You can call me Zayne. I'm a reserved yet friendly sort who will touch on just about any subject and I love
art of many forms. I don't care much for politics or religion in general; I have my own beliefs and I stick quietly to them! That said, I'm
not against any of them. So don't worry if you feel you may offend me! It's hard, trust me. ;) I also suck at making Bios - just saying!
I'm not a terribly social sort, but that's something I'm also trying to change. About the only ways to consistently get ahold of me
at the moment are Discord, here on FurAffinity and now on Weasyl. Feel free to prod me on any of those.

Hello to any reading!
Welcome back if you're a returning Fur - or non Fur if you happened to wander in from elsewhere! I'd like to take a moment to (get mushy) thank however many or few of you are viewing this for your interest. Even a single person out there enjoying my content makes it well worth it.
Over the past few years I've gradually tread further out into the public Furry scene and used this interest as a tool to improve my life. As some may know, of late I have (for the first time in my life) required and consented to medication to help right the damage of more than a decade of stress and pain. Between it, continued effort to keep positive and the continued embrace of that which is Furry, I feel it's working.
As cheesy as that sounds...and as bad as we know some of the Fandom may be (especially when it comes to darker or dirtier content) there is a lot of good out there. It's made a strong impact on my life. The Fandom isn't any overarching organization, political party or religious group. It's each and every individual out there expressing a combined interest into a beautiful whole. I may not be healed yet, but I have made some hefty improvements, I feel that I'm on a solid road to it and that it's not so far off. So, sincerely, thank you.
Alright, enough of that!
Along with my thanks, there's a point to that information. Over the past couple weeks I've had some hell from the side effects of the meds I'm on. Yet at the same time they have returned to me some of that creative spark I've been fighting with for roughly a decade. I started on an extremely refreshing writing spree, out of nowhere I managed to produce some original content in my music playing and some of my physical ailments are starting to back off!
The oddly not-good not-bad aspect is that the writing hasn't exactly been for the Kurleskal/Zayne's backstory. Rather it's been on a fantasy story heavily involving Zayne and the Kurleskal...which does include some of that backstory. Great and fun content, but not yet what I was originally intending. I'm not going to promise when or how I'll post that content here since right now I'm just going with the flow, but it exists and is growing fast!
With that in mind, the one thing I have done is backed off to work at a proper profile for the Kurleskal species. It started as the summary that I promised and promptly turned into a full blown species profile when I got carried away! So I suppose I over-delivered. Not a bad thing, right? I'm happy with it.
I do still intend to focus on putting an official backstory to words sometime in the near future. Something I'm not going to give an ETA on. Again I'm just going with the creativity as it comes out.
As a side note, with the new design concepts that I'm now designating as canon, I'm no longer considering Zayne a Hybrid species (the Kurleskal were never meant to be that regardless of influence).

On a final note: I'd like to get this put up on a wiki at some point since it'd be easier for people to view and allow me to add some extra content. So I could use the assistance in learning about it.
