The new job has been going well. Started out as a sub but due to catching covid-19 shortly after starting I found myself at the same site as my wife. And it was a permanent position to boot! I have to say working with the students and offering my assistance is very gratifying. Even if their attitude and general PITA moments are not great. Seeing those "Aha!" moments makes my day every time. But I am keeping an eye out for something better as this is part time at minimum wage...despite requiring an AA degree or equivalent experience.... Yeah, they aren't paying me what I am worth which is total BS. But I won't feel too guilty if I find something better. But till then, Hurrah! for working close to the wife. <3
