Depression is a bitch. It can hit hard and fast, and knock your ass down to rock bottom in no time, for no reason at all. It hit me Friday and I’ve spent the weekend trying to shake it off. But I’m on my feet more or less, and I’m gonna be fine. I’ve taken to reminding myself of the people, and things I have to be grateful for in my life. It helps me cope. I still lost an entire Saturday cause I just completely shut down and slept. But I’m pulling myself out of it today, if only slowly. I’ll keep picking myself back up and keep going, if not for myself, then for the people who care about me.
