First of all I want to warn anyone who dares to come here that I am not a professional artist. I do things because I like and get really tired of them begging me to write/draw them so they can tell their story. Sometimes I too am interested in their tale. Also, I am not colour blind, I am colour dumb so bear with me when I try to put up a colour drawing. Most of the time I will be humbler and stick to B&W stuff.
PEOPLE YOU SHOULD COMMISSION (in no particular order)
melanieX I usually am showing the work each of these wonderful artists have done for me. With
melanieX I will be different. Just looke at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3201359/. When I first saw that I was in awe. One word I could think of: badass. Not badass enough for oyu? Try this for size: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3237451. She also did a commission on my Tetia character, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3237415/, this is very nice too. But, the first one I put here is still just, well, badass.
shana If you like traditional and cute art, she is the girl. Easy to work with and does some gorgeous work. I asked her to do a drawing of my character Kushana and she came up with this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2301112/. Note the details, including the way the flowers just gently float in the fall. I've had quite a few pieces done with her and one in the making as we speak.
firefly8083 also does gorgeous drawings and she can go from cute, like the Kushana chibi (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3019862/) she did for me, to very sexy stuff like http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3357418. We have been talking about another commission for me; keep an eye on this channel for updates. But, if you are smart you will commission her before she starts my next project. You have been warned!
foxytangerine This is a multitalented one. First she is a damn good traditional artist. She does not draw huge landscapes with cows mooing as they hover above the clouds, but her work is more personal, close to the audience. Think of it as a closeup picture that was taken just in time. When she draws a character, she/he has feelings, character, ideas, and you can see that in a drawing like http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6380674/, which is one of my favourite commissions: she did capture exactly who Surai is. When you commission her (and you should), tell her about your character, how she/he looks and her/his heart. And she will make that piece memorable. And, you will get the real art she created in your mail so you can then cherish it forever.
Second, she does plushies. And they are something. I mean, who can resist a zombie fish or a derp mushi shark?
Things I like in these artists:
o Unique style and look
o The different feelings their drawing evoke
o Easy to work with
o Their rates are honestly a steal.

Happy New Year! (G)
Another year comes to a close. I can't help but think on all the things that happened. Yes, there were bad things and goals I did not accomplish, but there were also quite a lot of things I was able to get done and changes I needed to have done to my life. Let's just say if you told me I would be where I am right now typing this on the first day of the new year, I would not have believed you. The fact I accomplished that feels great. There are still many things I need to do, but there is also a blank canvas called 2014 I need to start fingerpainting on.
For of all of you who actually do read the vague thoughts I put here, do take the time to see all the good things that happened to you and your loved ones, and all the things you were able to do. Don't get me wrong, I know many of you had some really hard times in 2013 -- from financial struggles to death of loved ones -- but try to find and cherish all the good things that you experienced. I cannot guarantee your new year will be better than the last, but I think you should look into 2014 with an open heart full of hope.
Don't ever give up
