If anybody is even paying attention to this, first off, I'd like to say thank you...

But I need some help with something... Apparently my girlfriend... EX-Girlfriend... Broke up with me on Valentine's day this weekend... When we agreed we were going to take a break from the relationship we were in so she could concentrate on her studies... DURING this break, she was seeing another guy, after she told me she wasn't going to be doing anything seeing as her parents grounding her until the semester was over... Mind you, a good friend of mine that I knew before I met her, told me about this after talking with her himself... And to add on, this is my first serious relationship... I decided to get out of my shell and try asking someone I knew, liked and had a crush on for a good 1.5-2 years, not knowing that she liked me too, but didn't want to say anything, both of us thinking that we didn't like each other... Though one game of spin the bottle made me... Kind of be up front about it... Though it wasn't brought up again until time later...

Other than that, I need some understanding... Does it count as cheating if you and your significant other are taking a break from one another?

I'm confused about this... I don't know if I did something wrong, or if I didn't do enough to keep her happy... Just... Someone... Please...
