After like, several freakin' years, I finally got a sona. She's a cat named Tonya. She's sweet, soft and cuddly. You can see the art on the gallery.

To get myself somewhere, I used a picrew (particularly this one) to have a baseline. Eventually  xaxoqual was the one who helped kickstart the idea further, by commissioning an artist to make a ref sheet with feedback from me.

And honestly, after struggling to find a place and a character I could call my own, it feels great to just have Tonya around now. Now I can stop being envious of other furs with cat sonas getting all the cute art, as now I can join them in getting all the cute art. 💜

(plus ngl, I've gotten into some cat-like habits lately because I think it's cute. or something.)
