I thought I would formally introduce myself here, and make an official "About Us" page. I am Michaela, otherwise known as XxMiss_PiexX.

Beginning in 2015, the Wags of Woodcrest world has been ever-expanding. I've had many variants of "animal OC worlds" in my art that I've drawn throughout elementary and middle school, but when 8th grade came around and I had my latest dogsona, Dakoda Wags, something was different. This time I grew more attached to her than any of my past attempts ever before.

It all started with a group of early adolescent friends in school together, our main character Dakoda Wags, and her twin sister Piper, and their group of friends, Marzie Hayes, Lily Busch, Bunny Abbott, Tobey Parker, and Sam Ryder were at the heart of this all. Shortly after the birth of the characters, their place in the world was decided. Woodcrest was created as a fictionalized town based off my real life hometown on Long Island in New York. I began coming up with character dynamics and "cartoon episode" like ideas for this little cast of friends. I would draw them out in mini comic strips while hoping to maybe one day turn this into a real cartoon show for people to watch.

About year after beginning this artistic journey, I met OneSadShep online in a Lion King fandom space. I shared my ideas of OCs with him and he quickly joined forces with me to expand the world far beyond the original main squad of characters. We realized how well we worked together and began crafting "background characters" who ultimately became much more than that. Along with the encouragement of some other friends, we both knew that with our combined passions, his skill for writing and my skill for drawing and the characters that I started with, we could bring TWOW to another level.

Now nearly a decade after this all started, progress and new ideas have still not slowed down. With a cast of over 600 original characters spanning over hundreds of years over the course of the timeline of this world, we are still coming up with new ideas and stories regularly. We want to be able to share this all with the world. My Toyhouse is the best place to meet hundreds of our OCs, and on Wattpad, OneSadShep and I both have our own accounts where we split our time writing stories about this cast of characters which dive deeper into their lore.
