At this current time, Just Friend is being worked on to release the next closed build, 0.63. There's so much work to be done, but I couldn't have done it without the help of every single one of my patrons. Currently, Just Friend is making between 250 and 300 USD monthly. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less, but it's always less than what Patreon tells you because they snatch a percentage for themselves. This amount is enough for me to actually live while only working on the game. But as a Writer and a Game Developer, I can only do so much in the art-department and music department. Artwork is not only expensive if you get a quality one, I also need to check with the artist if it's ok for me to use it in my project and see what his demands are as an artist about it to see if our interests align. I can't pay royalties, I don't even think any project ever pay royalties for artists or musicians in the project. So it's a bit tricky to close a deal. For now, the lead artist of Just Friends is the chillest dog ever, WagnerMutt.

A lot of things, good and bad happened these last few years, but story-wise Just friends is about 45% done. The whole problem is that I write it alone, so it takes a huge time only doing that, however, thanks to the perseverance of my patrons, I can achieve a living wage, even if it's not the highest one. My dream is to one day achieve 1K supporting patrons (actively helping), no matter what tier they're pledging on. So far, Just friend also gets between 25 - 40 patrons monthly, it fluctuates. However I'm grateful nonetheless for all the help, all the support and all the good words.


And, if you're one of the 200+ people who already supported the project, thank you so much. (Note that this is the total number of people who already helped in the game, not the number of people who is helping monthly, there's a difference. I wish I had 200 patrons actively helping me =P)

Foxxly, you danm fox. You came to this project in such a hard time for me, not only ever time you've seen the total amount I was making going down, you raised your pledge to keep helping me, and even now, you're helping me every day. I'm glad we could have become friends.

I have a lot of patrons I could keep mentioning here, but really without you guys up there I would be utterly fucked in so many steps of my project, and I know it's taking forever to finish it, I am doing it alone after all. But I promise I'll keep working hard and doing my best to deliver the best game I can for you all. And soon, I hope, we'll have some NSFW content in the game! :)

For now, I really hope to get more patrons, and to have more help and support. The more I get the more I can invest solely into the game.
