I need to get better photos of this later (and will scrap this submission when I do), but wanted to submit something to celebrate the fact that it is DONE.
This is not a fursuit. It is a puff paint suit. I never ever want to see another bottle of puff paint as long as I live. Ever. I mean it.
I made the mask, wings, and tail. Gloves were bought and then painted and airbrushed.

Thanks! The light wasn't quite right by the time my husband got home, and I'm flying out in the morning, but hope to get some detail shots at the con or when I get back. :) The face is painted resin, but the hood, arms, and tail have puff-painted scales. Here's a picture of the tail from before it was finished - http://stripeygryphon.tumblr.com/po.....-please-please
Yes she does, just like this reference image of her. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5344771/
Of course! I originally got the puff paint idea from this - http://rarsuit.livejournal.com/44876.html . (Didn't even attempt the armature which was the main subject of the tutorial. Nifty idea, but needed too many things I don't have on hand!)
The effect is pretty nice, but if the weather doesn't cooperate and the air is too humid, it can become a HUGE pain in the butt just waiting for the stuff to dry.
