Anyways, Here's me, on a visit to a friend's house. I'd thought no one was around, so I was playing around; I saw the nearby badge (English for... I think buttons they're called in America. We call the things used to do up coats and trousers buttons interestingly enough) and a pen. A trusty Bic no-less. and decided to put my tie around my head and wield them like a shield and sword.
Only for a few seconds though to be honest, those pens weight a ton.

We do too. When you speak 'merican you get used to the same word meaning four different things, and the only way you can tell which is from subtle context clues.
