I doubt I shall set down my brush or pencil. You fill me with inspiration, and saved me from laying it down in the first place, when I had been nearly done in and was simply settling for the life of a financially downtrodden, blue-collar drone. You had lain beautiful things on top of the grunged, squalid, putrid soils of the arts that I was treading. You and you alone had done it. Thank you.
I had actually done that because of how I was drawing her strafing, so to balance it out and display the action, I had the foot paw tucked and turned underneath her, as it would do such with such rapid movement. That is also why the other, outstretched leg gets so small as it fades into the distance.
Nonetheless, thanks.

I wasn't accusing you of any bashing, there. xD I was explaining myself. Otherwise I could see how it would look awkward. Generally when the body is in motion, it can do some odd things at certain points of locomotion. Though, I guess that her spread toes can contribute to the aforementioned "Awkwardness".
Yeah, generally the back paw's toes only spread when they're on the ground with really harsh or stressed movement. > http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3033.....3784ee962f.jpg < there's a lion running, best image I could get for a back paw as it was suspended that wasn't a cheetah. Just for future use.
You do make a good point, but I was actually going more for the look of outstretched toes as per when a feline is about to claw at something. I was thinking that it would be more of an action used for enhanced traction, but I don't know much about animals. I understand that naturally a feral cat does not do such. In the mindset of anthropomorphic creatures, I thought that she'd be doing this on purpose so that when the foot-paw met the ground, it would dig in a bit more, and allow for a greater sprint. Of course, the degrees of how far the toes are spread would vary at each stage of the stride itself.
Okay. Let's not put out any bad blood in this.
I had drawn an anthropomorphic character, which generally doesn't have to actually adhere to any realistically feral physiology, natural movement or spasm, or anything related to the said character. Yes, I do understand that not all animals do that naturally; I had already explained why I had drawn her foot-paw in such a way above. No, it doesn't have to be just like a feral animal. It could breathe fire and drip acid from some unknown orifice, or shoot the claws out of the paw using little rockets that somehow genetically formed there, if it bloody well wanted to.
Everyone has their respective opinions, of course. I can respect that. So here we all are, with all of our opinions, and let's just take them as they are.
