New head I've just finished working on. He's a summer forest dragon currently named "Downy Birch", part one of what I hope will be a four part series of seasonal dragons made on the same resin base and themed after different British native trees, to be completed during each season in the coming year. He'll be going up for auction shortly
Resin base made by myself, hand painted glass eyes, horns from Starbourne Works, hand braided hair. Fur is mostly luxury shag with MM fox accents.
The second in the series, Autumn Forest Dragon "Sessile Oak" will hopefully be done before the start of Winter.

Oh my gosh... I have always wanted to see someone make this olive/sage green work without looking like Oscar the grouch, and this has blown me away! It's beautifully shaped, the blending is so smooth and pretty, the expression is fierce yet approachable, and those smexy markings <3 The braids also give it lots of character, and I hardly see them work so well with a fursuit. And I hate being "one of those people", but I'm seriously glaring at my bank account for not having more money in it e__e Regardless, I can't wait to see it out and about and hope it goes to someone who will cherish and use it often~
