I'd suggest Dropbox
It has an image gallery setup but I'd suggest using it to make direct links to images.
They do have a bandwidth limit but only if you get a lot of traffic all at once or host really large files.
Not to mention it syncs a folder off your system rather than the usual upload process.
I highly suggest giving it or others like it a try. (dropbox is one of the originals of these type though)
