Wow, I'm just pumping these out a day at a time, ain't I? Amazing what you can do when you're motivated! In any case, this is the third of the six C.A.F.E. requests; the second of the Fur Affinity requests. This time it's from 
bornofsound, whom wanted me to have Crystal using the "Stone" copy ability to block an attack from an enemy (I got to choose who it was, so I chose Shadow Matt because I haven't used him in a LONG time.) while posed with a "Talk to the Hand" gesture.
I had a lot of fun with this one! At first I was just gonna have the bottom part of the comic there as the whole of the image, but I felt it might confuse readers a bit as to what had happened. So I extended the image a bit and began to work on making this more of a comic, and this was the final result. Heck; I even went to the trouble of designing and actually SHOWING the dang Copy Visor that is making this series possible in the first place! All in all, I REALLY love how this came out...
...Except for one detail: I forgot to show what Stone Crystal looks like un-petrified......Shit...
...Ah well, I guess I could always just do a follow-up to this to show off the un-petrified form of this ability. The Stone ability is also one of the powers that got a redesign in KRtD, so I can have fun designing it from scratch! I think I'll hold off explaining what Crystal can do with this ability until then, though (plus it's late where I am & I REALLY don't feel like typing a wall of text right now), so look forward to that.
Also, remember that I STILL have three spots left open for C.A.F.E. requests (one on dA, two on FA), so head to the respective journals & drop a comment if you're interested.

Wow he's angry. good thing the power of stone is somehow invulnerable indefinitely. But one wonders: would the stone form have random changes into things relating to the person .or just heavy things in general like in the kirby games? I'm definately wondering of there's a stone statue form of the normal Matt in there, then anyone just turning into a statue of you randomly would be kinda hilarious and DEFINITELY Random. still, great job displaying what the power of stone can do! and now for your obvious pun statement: ""Rock" on man! i hope you leave no "Stone" of an ability unturned"

your'e still asking for who doing what abillities! i want in on 'dis! I think i'd like to see how team chaotix would do with some certain abilities. Espio with seldom seen Light ability from Nightmare in Dreamland (just imagine him hiding in a bunch of lamps for camouflage now!) Charmy with the new Beetle ability from Triple Deluxe (i'm sure he'd like to move up in the foodchain and weird some cool armor too) , and Vector with Mic (self explanatory i'm sure) i know that's three of 'em but i highly doubt Team Chaotix does anything by themselves and we'd probably get to see some real hilarity with 'em
Shadow Matt is always angry; he's just being a bit more vocal because he's confused. He didn't take notice of Crystal using the Copy Visor at the last second to save herself.
In any case, I do plan on explaining how the form works. I just wanted to do it in a separate image so that I could show what the form looks like unpetrified. But I will note here that Crystal, when she uses the form, will take on various different poses of herself each time; with some poses being rarer than others. I'd assume that some of the rarer ones would feature her wearing various different outfits, or even posing with her friends...
....I wouldn't doubt it if she even had a rare pose that depicted her naked.
Also, in response to your other comment, I'd love to do one of these for you, but I would rather you make the request on the journal itself (it also makes it easier for me to keep track of the details of the request).
mnmega currently has dibs on the last slot (I'm working out the details with him before I update the journal with his request), but I've still got two slots left over on DeviantART if you're interested. Just let me know who you are if you have a different username over there (or if you even have one over there to begin with).
