All her stuff are never auctions. If there's an autobuy, it will be bought for that. It's extremely unfair to the people who don't even get a chance to see it before it gets sold... I hate autobuys so much

Perhaps giving no auto until its been open a few hours and let people know when the Ab will be up

I guess it really doesn't even matter. Falvie will never lower her prices so it just becomes a game of who has more money.

I think the Ab is a good price it stops it going to stupid amounts

But then there's the issue of the first person who sees it gets it because no one else has a chance to even see it.

In the perfect world (since her characters seem to be so popular) I think she should be like "I'm gonna post X amount of character at 9pm on date X. Be sure to keep an eye out" and then have them at a set price that most furries can afford so that most people can actually have a chance.

But she is entitled to do what she wants and i'm sure nothing will change with me saying this becsuse all the money she gets lol

I'm surprised there's an AB in place at all, considering the bids would probably wind up in & around the $300 mark otherwise... On second thought, the AB isn't really all that surprising I guess; it's kind of mutually beneficial.

Because she's so popufur, the characters will go for WAY more than they are worth... No offense to her or the art but in the end it just becomes a game of who has the most money and I really wish there was a better way to buy the character.

It's not even a game of who has the most money, because the auction is capped and multiple people have enough to meet that value. I suppose it's not really all that different from commission slots really, those get gobbled up equally as quick.

I think it'd be pretty snazzy if she auctioned the characters without an AB, and then turned them into unique, digital-fionbri-trading-card-thingers with the rarity based on the ending auction price. The winner might decide to "trade" ownership of the character at a later date.

I don't see why everyone is complaining and guilting the winner. just enjoy the art and the character and grow up.
Why does everyone have to make petty excuses and make the artist and buyers feel like they shouldn't price their art or spend their money how they want.

Yes, I 2nd this.

Its like one of my fav artists I have been trying to commission. He opens for 4 or so slots at a time...and they are like $55 and done within 24 hours. As soon as he posts the journal, all slots are immediately gobbled up. Sure, it gets frustrating when I am minutes too late, but I just congradulate those who got slots and will hope that one day I will see the journal right as its posted. I don't live on FA, and am usually at work when he posts his journal. I just take it as a sign that I don't need to buy art on this given day. lol

But to continue to whine that popular artists are charging too much is childish. The money pays their bills. It is a job for them and the time put into each piece is well worth the cost.

If you think she charges too much, then you are entitled to go commission a lesser known artist who only does art for fun and only changes $20.

Wtf is up with people on FA, so many get so sore and whiny when someone else uses THEIR OWN money on WHAT THE FUCK THEY WANT and helps support a fellow artist as well. "OMG how can you afford it, what do you work with to afford it, whaaa wish I was rich too!"
