Will it in its infinite wisdom and might accept this simple offering?
They sure hope so. It's the largest fish they ever caught.

i think it will be hungry and want its mommy. detailed countrysides are my favorite.
too big for its worshipers to do much for or about,
i doubt it will want to hurt them, but it might not exactly notice, and almost certainly not comprehend them.
one wonders quite how its worshipers survive though.
although i see some vegetation, and perhaps it is merely the dead of winter.
they obviously posses some skill, and considerable artistry, at making or at least maintaining artifacts.
or their predecessors had. but someone has found a way of keeping that lamp lit.
perhaps it is carrion that sustains them.
supplemented by fish, caught in underground pools inside of caves.
they or their predecessors could work stone. and there must be some source of tallow or paraffin from which to fashion candles.
and the wicks of the candles, perhaps they are fashioned somehow from the scant plant life, yet i speculate they are the gut strings from other small carrion.
this is why i love landscapes, and cultures that learn how to live and make there lives in and by them.
there is so much more then just the animate people and their relationships between them.
i look at a place i see so much more. everything in it affecting every other.
not the lives of one or two, but of many and the interaction of species and the niches that shape them in their environment.
i'm not denying that those who make characters make art too, its just that for me, there is so much more in something like this.

I'd like to fave this at least 27 times. Q____Q love all the tiny details and how it turns on my fantasy. It's just mindblowing... I'm speechless.
When I look at this scenery, I kind of feel so small, I want to pay homage to the unborn king too.. and I feel so sorry for "them", I would really want to help them, because they look so desperate and it doesn't seem like they have an easy life.
where does this idea come from? :) is this a world of yours, does it have background? *soooo curious*
