Tri-X is supposed to be grainy, that's part of it's appeal.
If you're into playing with developers you may want to try stand development in HC-110 ( dilute 1:119 and develop about 50 minutes with only agitating for 15 sec at the beginning, 15 seconds half way. )
Also a staining developer like some variety of pyrocat will help tame the grain.
