An illustration for
foxamoore song, The Lone Coyote, done as part of a trade: one illustration for him per song for me.
I was a little hung up on the background, but forced myself through it. I worked partly from a photo taken during my trip to Drumheller. Despite some remaining issues with the background and legs, I'm pretty happy with it :3
Edit: Slight repaint of the paws and editted the shadow a little.
8-9 hours Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Oh...err.. well thank you for the link. I don't think I meant it litterally, but I can see the resembleances- I think it is just purely marvelous though.
Erm... if I offended you in any manner (you may find it odd I say that...okay maybe not but you'd be suprised) I assure you it wasn't intentionally.

The feet seem fine to me (except maybe the right hindleg seems slightly turned). Looking more closely, maybe you just need to darken the shadows near the feet to better anchor his paws to the stone; he seems a little floaty now, if that makes sense. Still, this is kinda nit-pickey stuff. It doesn't detract from it at all.
Yeah, I'm definitely going to try to fix the shadows, and see if that's enough. I just need to get around to it X3
And no, I want to be nit-picky (or rather, I can't help it), because it's actually pretty distracted to me X3 Plus lots of people have noticed it, too, so I probably -should- fix it...

from a distance, the watermark makes it look exactly like this picture takes place on a Halo style Ringworld, with the ring stretching off in the distance. I like it alright, but not making it set on a Ringworld after getting my hopes up, just loses some potential awsomeness.
No one finds me interesting. Most people are addicted to cell phones these days and I'm not a like those people. Which makes me furious that they don't look at me instead they stare down on their cell phones. But I am going to buy a nikon coolpix p510 and see what I should do during my free time. Maybe take pictures of animals. Even if it gets risky getting close to dangerous creatures. That should be fun.
Yeah, digital/mobile culture is sort of... getting out of hand. Like, even baby toys are marketing towards people with smart phones. Buy this toy for your 1 year old 'cause you can plug it into your iPhone! Buy this app for your child! etc. :b I mean, smartphones are definitely useful and whatnot, but seriously, people. :V
