I'm sure we've all had the same thoughts, so here's a passing thought.
Drowning in effervescent melodies,
He cries and cries for the deceit,
If only the malice of content albeit,
A rather unastounding feat.
Would gloss his eyes,
Drown his hopes and fears,
Decay to a corpse derived,
From a destitute world.
Had such a ruby not been lost,
The scarlet sheets not been burned,
Perhaps this lesson,
Could have been left unlearned.
Drowning in effervescent melodies,
He cries and cries for the deceit,
If only the malice of content albeit,
A rather unastounding feat.
Would gloss his eyes,
Drown his hopes and fears,
Decay to a corpse derived,
From a destitute world.
Had such a ruby not been lost,
The scarlet sheets not been burned,
Perhaps this lesson,
Could have been left unlearned.
