Let me explain that title. XD Made as a sort of follow up to the previous comic- (although this was ironically drawn before it) -and done almost purely for my good friend https://www.kobi94.deviantart.com who has talked to me at length of his disdain for Weezing, and I fully agree with him. Now, it's not exactly that we dislike Weezing as a Pokemon, we don't, but we find Koffing to be far superior. Why? One simple reason. Weezing no longer smiles!

Now, this wouldn't really be a problem if Weezing looked a bit more comically grumpy, or had a somewhat enjoyable face, but instead the poor creature looks to be in a constant state of dying agony! It's bad enough that Weezing, much like Magneton, Dugtrio, Slowbro etc. is not a legit evolution but another instance where multiple Pokemon just HAPPEN to come together and work as one. Why this is determined at a set level, I'll never know, but far worse than that, Weezing is a mutation! It is a horrible, wretched abomination against Arceus that is forever cursed to be fused together with some other poor, unfortunate soul... so I guess it makes sense why it always looks so miserable... but c'mon!

kobi is always particularly upset about this as he's a Poison user, specifically he cosplays Koga, so Weezing is a no brainer to have... but he far prefers Koffing to it, just because of how adorable happy he is. Both he and I agree that if Weezing just had the same face we'd love him. So I took it upon myself to dry that version, though I liked the idea of keeping the smaller head unhappy, albeit more comically grumpy, sort of a spin on the iconic comedy/tragedy masks and as expected I like it WAY more... if only it were so. A man can dream... Also I included the shiny color because shiny Weezing looks fucking awesome!
