NNNNNGHHHHHH YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS!!! i know I already went over every little thing about this with you but I just want to say how incredible it is seeing this up close on the computer! I see so many details I couldn't make out through the phone! Omg his hair is just so beautiful and the shading is just sublime. The way that same style of shading continues into his ears is perfection!! That is definitely one of my fav parts of this piece. Another one of my fav parts of this is his pose. He seriously looks like he is parching around a show dog ring. I can picture those afghans now but Mari has them all beat cause he be so much prettier (as long as purple's allowed in the AKC, it is now dammit!!) The way you drew a nonanthro Afghan just has me sitting here staring in awe, because they are such a bitch to draw. You captured that hound slope to the face perfectly! The shape to the body, the flow of the fur, keeping it look natural and not just fur thrown on there; you can tell you truly thought about where the joints and body parts would go even though they are covered up. And the colors are phenomenal! And lookat that cute little skinny afghan tail! I am in doggy nerd mode now even tho it's 3am and I srsly need to get back to bed. I passed out after my text to you waiting for the internet to work. Man I have been exhausted. At least after today I am off on Sunday and will have time and energy to work on some art!
