- If you have a prosthetic leg, you better hide it... because this guy is gonna' need it. :P
- Here is a sample of the Raccoon WIP.
This new suit establishes quite a few firsts for me and SSC. This is the first "new" realistic suit, the first suit to offer the realistic eyes with Tear-duct vision, first with tw0-stage airbrushing techniques, the list goes on.
many other parts here on this guy came from new works, including new nose casting, altered teeth design, a "framed" tear-duct eyes, and the eyes themselves are made from scratch all new using my own artwork eye templates and solid acrylic eyeballs. (these are not taxidermy)
Also the whiskers took over 2 hours alone to do with the numbers.
Jaw is movable as well.
It took some experimenting and work to get a reasonable balance between vision and appearance with the Tear-duct eyes, as i did not want to have the huge open ducts as some tear-ducts eyes have, but did not want to impair the vision as some smaller ones have. The vision is not as good as the 3D follow me designs, but better than some i have tested, while still keeping the ducts from looking to unsightly large. These use a new wire-frame to add strength and smother appearance of the duct screen and eyeball sockets.
- This suit has already consumed TWICE the hours and time to get this far, as its all based on new designs i been working on here. To get the expression close to that of any certain character or expression, and get the colors close to a GCI character or art drawn character is impossible to do with what synthetic materials we have available to us no matter how much we try, but we can try to come close to offer that sense of personality.

By FAR out of all the Rocket Racoons I've seen, yours is the best, and does the realistic side the best. Honestly you look at any other one and you'll notice one or two things look odd, but the only thing that catches my eye on here is the eye area and even then its not bad (and is also unavoidable with screen/realistic eyes).
Again, mad props, not a big fan of movie based suits, but yours is damn good.
