Through the darkness you can see my tears
Surrounded with heart ache and loneliness
That has plagued me through the years
Love to me is a mystery
That has never been reveled
Joy and happiness,
My heart will never feel
My soul deeply wounded
And my heart torn away
My reasons for living
Grow shorter every day
I bare the wounds of misery
The marks of a life well scared
To maintain reasons for living
Sometimes seems so very hard
So I sit alone in sadness
And cry my mournful tears
As I beg alone in the darkness
For an end to these unhappy years
