Ja er hat Oldtimer Status mit Note 2+ aber ich fahre ihn eh mit roter Nummer.
He, das Schloss in Hintergrund ist leider nicht meins aber es ist nur 2 Minuten von meinem Haus weg und eine gute Fotokulisse.

Hmrrr... hat was - am meisten vermisse ich die Chromstoßstangen heutzutage - ist ja alles nur noch Plastik. Die hab ich als Kind bei meinem Großvater seinem Opel (bzw. vorher Mercedes aber frag nicht welcher) immer ganz toll gefunden *polier* ;)

This is true. We got the large "battering ram" bumpers in the USA. I have swapped the USA lights for the European version and have installed manual windows and plan on swapping out the ACCII climate control for a manual heat system. That's a nice car. But try a 1976 300D with a 5.0 Liter mustang engine in it ^^ it FLIES! And it's not mine LOL

So why should i replace it with a smaller and less efficient engine?

Actually the mustang 5.0 is more efficient. And I wasn't sugesting ripping out your older tank engine for a mustang 5.0 I was talking about a whole other car.

The 300d I am talking about makes 25 miles per gallon with 320 ft·lbf and 245 HP.

Also your transmission is a 3 speed automatic that limits you around 140 miles per hour with a 0-60 time of 7.5 seconds.

Our 300D with the 5.0 manages 173.28 miles per hour at a 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds.

We cannot manage a faster 0-60 time without burning tires into smoke :) Take that Al gore!

Cool, I've never had the chance to work on a 6.9 before, though I've always wanted to.

LoL, I did forget about the 3.5 V8. That engine was never available in the USA.
