I really like this Pixar movie...a lot. And I shouldn't have if you analyze it too much. The story is very simple (dino gets lost in the wild...has to get home with help of companion), there's barely any side characters and the main protagonist isn't that interesting.
In fact, Arlo the apatosaurus is very timid, shouts in fear a lot and is scare of everything...yet I sympathize with him probably because he reminds me of myself a little. Plus he's green. I'm very biased when it comes to adorable green reptiles. I'm easily amuse I gu..oh shiny! *wanders off*
