I finished this cutie tonight for a client who wanted her lion, Lerato, done as a backpack...in the style of The Lion King! It was a very interesting challenge that took several drafts to get it right but...bam, here he is! I think I got the style down pretty well if I say so myself haha! I love his feet, especially. Those took me quite a while to figure out, more so even then his head. Lerato's bag lining even features Lion King fabric with Simba and Nalaa. He stands about 26 inches tall, making him the largest backpack I have made to date. He is made with minky, fleece, faux fur, cotton, and wool. His straps are made of nylon and have side releasing buckles to make it easier to take off if the wearer chooses to wear him with a fursuit/some form of cosplay. Both straps are adjustable to boot!

The client ask for Lerato's mane to portray him in the "Teenager" phase of mane growth, so he doesn't have a full mane just yet. He has a tuft that goes along the back of his head and up between his ears, merging with the fluff of his neck and shoulders.
