I DID IT! ╰(◉ᾥ◉)╯
The eyes are HUGE, which means better vision and heat control! Yay! ✧⁺⸜(●′▾‵●)⸝⁺✧ (and of course, extra cuteness). Since these blanks are made of foam I can change them to match a character better too (like if someone has a more almond eye shape vs. the round shape.)
I don't really like resin masks...they're heavy and can't be cuddled as much ((●´∧`●)) but I can see how they would be better for moving jaws, however, I don't offer moving jaws on my heads so foam works out great for me (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
I cast a BUNCH of these so if you've got a canine commission in the works you've already got a glimpse of the face you can expect! Of course, I will likely add/ subtract depending on the character concept art. (males might have a wider base on the muzzle, if you don't want that let me know)!
Working on a kitty base and horse/caribou now. Stay tuned! ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶…⋆ฺ

May I ask what casting foam you used? I've been having a hard time trying to double check things aren't toxic to be wearing around your face for foam glues etc trying to find better alternatives than hot glue. Casting sounds so much more practical.
I'll def be pointing a friend in your direction when you release the feline ;) these are the cutest and amazing quality.

Sure! I'm not sure what you mean about hot glue, but you can check out anything from Smooth-on, they make wonderful foam (I use foam-it 3 soft, it's exactly like upholstery foam) and resin products! I get the bulk of my material there. I believe some of thier products are on Amazon too. Most people use Foam-It 3 soft to make "squishies" with thier kids or to sell on etsy. If you are on the hunt for materials, I wouldn't use anything from home improvement product lines (expanding foam) since they aren't made for costume centric work, even though they are vastly cheaper. The only time Foam-It is toxic, is in liquid form or if it's not mixed properly (the foam is sticky or not upholstery-like).
If you're worried about toxic materials in fursuits, keep in mind wearing protection, such as a Balaclava. Resin or foam, your skin shouldn't be touching the raw material, not due to being toxic, but because your own skin and the oils in it can break down or shorten the life of the costume.
Thank you so much for the compliments ^^! Can't wait to share the kitty cat! I hope that answers your questions and feel free to PM me if you have anymore <3

Wow what an amazing site, and there's a Canadian distributor nearby too! Thanks a bunch!
Hot glue is just the worst for crafting foam heads in my opinion. I like spray adhesive as it doesn't stop your knife when carving the foam, but its vapor is toxic and I live where it rains 70% of the time, so being able to spray is an uncommon opportunity and I don't like letting it out into the environment. Being able to cast a "general shape" block and carve from a single piece sounds much less wasteful. Thanks for the balaclava tip too!
