Azar is, as all his friends know, a dragon that loves to build inventions. He's a tinkerer at heart and has spent a large chunk of his life working on creating new and amazing technologies for his world. All that time building new mechanical marvels has placed him as the premier inventor of his world, bringing the world into a "steam age". After all, steam is a renewable energy source and as so many steam-punk fictions show, it can be used to power literally anything.

Of course, Azar doesn't always just sit down and create brilliant machines. He's a tinkerer, and loves to just make whatever pops into his head. On top of all that, he's self taught in a practice that didn't exactly exist when he started. Out of all his created inventions, less than half the prototypes actually go on to become functioning and successful designs. Sometimes these designs are just too complex for what they do. But it's the process of creating them that Azar enjoys the most.

Take this latest invention for example. After the success of his "toaster" machine, Azar wanted to take it one stop further. Why make just toast in the morning when you could make french-toast? And what better way to perfectly toast the bread than with a rotisserie? Of course, making a full french-toast making machine is complex, and this first design may have one too many parts. Some condensing is required. But Azar's having a blast regardless. And what great machines don't have a big red button to push? The science of creating wondrous machines shall never cease in Azar's workshop.
