So I've been following your work for a little while now, but never really commented much [if at all, I think], but this last set of commissions posted, and I can't hold myself back anymore.
As someone who's been trying to do more painting, to improve on his scene-building skills, your work is such an inspiration. I've noticed more and more your skill to make these stunning scenes out of such simple images. Your work has this uncanny effect of looking way more technically complex than it is because you have a strong understanding of composition, color [god damn your col o rs], and lighting. Even in a picture like this, there's SO LITTLE actual shading, but like all your other pieces, it has this ability to have so much depth of field because you know what you're doing with your colors, lighting, and atmospheric distance. No matter what it is, your scenes always hold this simple, yet elegant cinematic feel to them, and it never fails to make me smile when I see your work update.
Keep up the incredible work, and thank you for sharing it with all of us.
