While I am fairly new to drawing animals and fursonas, I do have quite a bit of practice making abstract works and traditional blueprint drawings. I used to be an architecture major before I jumped that suck-ship into the field of Industrial Design. I have a bunch of my older charcoal and graphite stuff in my scrap folder, but this is probably my favorite abstract to date.
Ultimately, it is two ribbons spinning through space into some water. A combination of vine and compressed charcoal were used here. Fun fact: this picture actually inspired me to make a chinese yo-yo. Hitting people with it was so fun.
