The core of the problem is a deeply-rooted hatred, repressed but ever creeping. Hatred toward oneself, the one you love, and the rest of humanity. Perilously walking this fine line between two opposing worlds, one's greatest fear is to loose oneself in it and be consumed by it. The monster living in the shadows of your own mind, gazing at you with their unblinking eye.

i feel you on the depression making you just downright uncaring in some senses
i also identify with that sense of relating to asriel when he becomes flowey/the god of hyperdeath. i distinctly remember thinking that he reminded me of someone...come to find out that someone was actually me.
i know i can't be the best when it comes to consoling, but you also can remember that the god of hyperdeath was just a hurt little goat in the end...so maybe that is you as well. just a dude who feels heartless, but isn't to blame at all.
