Cover headshot, full view.
Well, I have a scrap folder, I may as well use it.
So here's the full version of the original artwork that went into the issue 8 cover.
Jeff is scaled slightly larger than the rest just because he's less bulky than the others, and otherwise I didn't think his chin would line up properly with the rest.
Jeez, guys, lighten up!!! SMILE! Maybe they're upset because they're a tiny bit off-model. I've been in the mindset of drawing comics so long, I'm used to characters at a scale of about six inches (no cheap shots about how I can't handle things bigger than six inches, please ¬.¬). So these headshots were are all drawn at a far larger scale than I'm accustomed to. I didn't sweat it because I knew I'd be assembling small fragments of them, and little errors wouldn't be noticed on the final cover version.

Not everyone in the comic is thin.
And don't forget, I don't think everyone has to be thin to be hot http://www.furaffinity.net/view/98230/

Oh your traditional work with markers is so breathtaking, it's really beautiful, especially love the detail on Cody, he's so very handsome. I don't believe I ever asked you but what kind of markers do you sue for these anyway? It's so good to see some new stuff from you though, I was getting so starved for it lately...
Thankee muchly, but this is more cheating than usual. They're drawn at an extra-large scale, so I was able to squeeze in more fur detail than I usually do
These are all Prismacolor markers. I know most artists prefer other brands (Copics seem to be the most popular), but these have always worked just fine for me. I like the fact that I have memorized the color names, rather than having to rely on numbers x.x
Awww, well I'm flattered :-D You could join the LJ group, it's all b/w, but at least it's weekly updates ^ ^;;
