We went for our appointment today to have the xray to count how many pups are in Samus' belly. Just one.

I have very mixed feelings (mostly excitement).

I was very sad to tell all the people that wanted one of her puppies that it wasn't happening. Some of those people have been waiting literal years while we waited for the right time to breed her and I feel horrible. I'm also sad because I was looking forward to picking out my favorite boy but now it's out of our hands, we get what we get.

BUT. I don't have to go through taking any of her pups away from her or worrying about whether I chose the right homes for her pups or not. That is a bit of a relief.
