You've been by my side for fourteen years, helped me through my worst moments, and showed me nothing but love for me, from the very first day we met, when you reached out and touched my hat from the other side of the cage door at the animal shelter.

There isn't a day I can remember where you wouldn't crawl onto my lap as I sit in front of my computer, purring away as I petted you, or a morning when I would wake up to find you laying on my chest, causing me to sleep in a little longer. You would even follow me into the bathroom just so you could jump onto the dirty clothes basket so I could pet you whenever I was in there, and every time your face got close to mine, you would lick my nose and wait for me to kiss you on the head.

To me you were more than just my pet cat, you were my best friend and a part of my family.
