I posted about this a month or so ago, but now that I'm further along I'm gonna be all official about it. I am near the tail end of a ReMaster for 'Cruelty'. The pages are being colored and some of the text bubbles are being modified, and it's going to be in print hopefully by Anthrocon, in a compilation book that includes 'Unconditional'. Fingers crossed for hardcovers, even!

I've chosen not to alter the original artwork very much, because honestly if I did, I'd have to re-do absolutely everything, lol. But there's something sweet about retouching the old, crappy artwork and breathing new life into it. It's been a strange adventure. . . .

Just wanted to say thank you for creating this story! I know for me personally it was really important and timely as I figured out my sexuality and came out to others myself. Both my husband an I can relate to a lot of what Reis and Marcus went through. These comics are really important for how they help people in the community. I'm sure a lot of others have found strength through them as well. We have the current print of this and look forward to purchasing the remastered version.

This was one of my first furry comics I really could relate to and made me much more comfortable about myself and showed me a new outlook and life and gave me hope. It feels like ages ago and so much has happened since then. I'm also one of those "stealth gay" guys like Reis but seeing that that's ok and maybe even desired was so helpful. I could ramble on and on how glad I am to see this remastered, but just take my thanks and I hope I can get my hands on a print even if I'm not at the con. Would love to show my non furry friends a side of me, they have never seen hehe ^^
