While Ara has a much highly computation capacity, and a free roaming body. GLaDOS is an unshackled AI and is fully capable of free thought.

On the plus side, Ara is immune to terran hacking capabilities and neurotoxin, so she's got the one up over anyone else in being able to hold a conversation with GLaDOS.

Aaaaaaaaand now I'm imagining ARA chatting up President John Henry Eden. Or maybe Mr New Vegas. Or Nick Valentine.

The Master wasn't an AI. He was once an actual human being by the name of Richard Grey that, after taking a swim in some FEV vats, ended up melding with a Vault mainframe.

Cave Johnson had a thing for lemons, and GLaDOS keeps referring to cake and we all know that GlaDOS was originally Caroline, Cave Johnson's assistant. And further more GLaDOS was once powered by a potato, and maltodextrin is a sweetener base from potato starches....so we can now infer that there is cake and it must be a lemon cake with glaze icing! .....Kind of like the lemon loaf you can get at Starbucks.....Could Aperture Science Laboratories be Starbucks?....could GLaDOS be running Starbucks and the coffee some part of her diabolical testing?
