I was going to wait until she was completely finished, but I’m so excited, I couldn’t wait to share!

I want to start out by saying, I adored the way Kilcodo costumes made the original Jett. She was adorable, and decision to proceed with this refurbishment was difficult, so difficult, that it took me a couple of years to gather enough courage to follow through with it.

With this being said, I would really appreciate if no one makes comparisons, and to not leave comments such a as “this one is better than that one”. Jett was old and very worn. She was unwearable before due to her age, so even if I left her the way she was, she’d have spent her days in my closet...or in storage.

So, here we go!
This is where I’m at with my very first professional fursuit I purchased almost ten years ago, Jett the Chihuahua!
I kept as much of the original build as I could. I managed to keep most of the original foam, as well as the nose, but that’s all that remains of the old Jett.
She’s gotten new foam, new plastic eyes, new fur and fleece, as well as new lining inside her head!
I’m hoping she, as well as the sister character, Junebug, will be finished in time for AC next year!
I’m thrilled to have finally breathed new life into this little girl. She has so much sentimental value to me, and I’m so happy I was able to give her another chance a life❤️
