The landscapes in "Myre" are mostly meager and death but sometimes, you can see some green places with a scanty population of trees.
This is just another practice without references and also a concept for the novel. I painted this to keep my mind off the snow and coldness, even though it doesn't seem so warm in there either. ;)
I used Photoshop only.

No references although I thought a lot about Scotland. ^__^

Yeah but it reminds me of when I used to go camping as a kid, when I was in the boy scouts 8D The icy rivers were our bathtubs! And even if its cold, its a rush to just jump into a river like that! Heh

I often Daydream in a place like this, but the direction they are traveling would be towards the dark mountain where the swamps are ^_^ lol. (...is weird and way to imaginative for her own good)
