Happy New Years everyone!
It's time for some art and music! For those that don't feel like reading much and just want the tunes... here ya go:

Usually this time of year I try to do at least one thing I don't normally get to do. This year I thought it'd be fun, even if its a bit rough around the edges, to make something I had wanted to make for awhile and share it with you guys for new years.
So... my idea here is a little mini-soundtrack for a guitar-themed game/animation/whatever that doesn't actually exist. So here it is!
Guitarkids vs Baddie face is a collection of 9 songs that tell the story of some neighborhood kids who just want to play their music and games and bullies aren't letting that happen. Fans of Earthbound, think... well, Earthbound! But with guitars. I don't know! < X D
Anywho, for those that want a listen, you can download the whole mini-album at the link before in either ZIP or RAR format.

Its pretty rough, but I just wanted to do as much as I could in the small ammount of time I had off. Hope you guys like it and have a happy and safe holidays everyone!

thanks~ glad you like the songs. ^^ And ooog, I really wish I could. I had about two days to do this total and not full days, just parts of those days when I could get to the computer. x__x at times I do think it'd be fun to really hunker down and do music for a living, but for now, art be my living so it gets all those juicy hours. x_x;

Wow!! This only took two days? That's really awesome when you think about it! Also, it's totally understandable art gets all the attention! It just surprised me to download your music and have it be just as fantastic as your artwork!
I'd love to hear more, even if it's on a once-in-awhile basis! Also, just an idea, if you had this as a CD for sale on Hot Cider, or even a limited release thing at ComicCon, maybe with a cute little like comicy thing of the story in the booklet, I would totally buy it up instantly. It's awesome!

Although you say it's rough... I think it's actually on par with a lot of indie games which is what this seems to be exactly what you where aiming for. Like... I could totally imagine it being used in games like say... Iji (which has some interesting music if it's own that you may want to check out).
The art style matches a lot of said games too so yeah... if that is what you where looking for you definitely got it!
Nice work all in all. And I must say... I think it's awesome that she is sporting a flying V... I just don't know why!
