Heck ye it is! The current object of my desire. It's been a long frustrating road though, lemme tell ya. Craigslist imposing a $5 fee for ad listings pretty much killed the market in my area but on a whim I had a friend check FB marketplace and I finally found one like two minutes down the street from my dad's shop. I had him go take a look at it and he called me up to tell me it was almost mint for the age of the car so I tried to make a deal with the owner. He wasn't ready to sell because he didn't have alternative transportation but removed the listing and promised to sell to me once he had another car.

A month passes and after thinking he was bullshitting me I got a text asking if I was still interested since he'd lined up another car but needed a week or two to acquire the funds to buy it. I told him yeah, and he got back to me about a week later saying he'd bought his new car and just needed to register it and replace the clutch and that after that he'd sell to me. Another week later he hit me up again (and keep in mind I haven't been asking the guy for updates, he's been texting me) to tell me he ran into trouble getting the new car registered and that he had to get a title for it before he could do so and now here I stand. Hoping to whatever deity will listen that this guy is on the level and not keeping me constantly updated to jerk me around for some sadistic reason.
