I feel like the drawing I'm currently working on is taking a bit of time so I wanted to do a quick drawing of a concept for my character (and also those that I will use in use in my storyline)
I always was amazed by death because... It's mysterious, it's a bit like those black holes, we all know that there is something or maybe nothing in it and that for now, we have literally no clue on what exactly there is inside. We have some old tales, legends, stories, and hypotheses to persuade us that there is something behind those things who look endless. And as an optimistic I want to believe in new birth. If those black holes can absorb mater and light maybe all this goes out somewhere, creating a new universe or something like that.
An end somewhere and a new start somewhere else?
That what I want to believe in, I'm maybe not an expert in physics, astronomy or any kind of stuff but what I notice is... that things try to stay infinite and stable. If something ends something else should start or else that would mean that our existence is completely null right? What the interest to live if we know that the end will be the death of our universe?
It's obvious there is something else! But what? Hehe well... I don't have a clue! but that's why it is fun to try to have is own vision of all those unsolvable questions!
In my case I'm thinking that quantum has a direct link with us, that physic always sounded strange for me "more you know about it the less you know", that sounds like something really complex and unimaginable. A bit like life. We all do choice in our life and we are all different, and for what I understood from that physic, things aren't 1 or 0, and they just aren't stable. Like all of us.
Maybe quantum is linked to some kind of external world... Heaven maybe? =0
Enough blabla about theories and stuff! Let's talk a bit about the real concept of that drawing! Basically I will always be annoyed to die in-game and... have that screen saying "lololol you died to try better next time" so... I tried to think about some concepts about how to make characters be not completely dead after losing all their health. And so here come the idea of "spirit form", it's a advanced form created artificially, they keep the "soul" with some kind of quantum device and convert the brain and memories of the victim into gas, it's a bit more complex than that, but technically it's not really dead, it's alive! But with gas. People in that form can control the gas with some kind of micro-organic thing that permits the user to feel the space to know where he goes, control the gas temperature to up or down and also he can move using some kind of micro propulsion created by those microorganisms too. It's far more complex than that but you've got the idea that's what matters.
In that drawing you can see the "soul of Luwfo" who "died" one day after traveling alone in space without a security belt, he crashed an asteroid and died... He had to wait one week to regain a planet equipped of a clinic that can rematerialize the corpse (the microorganism is based on the DNA of the user).
Don't forget your security belt kids! You could die without it and wait one damn week in space with no one to talk and nothing to do.
