It was the middle of the night, near the farmlands which Masha, the small mouse, is being chased by a wolf which have a huge appetite for mice. The little mouse was terrified and hope to not be eaten alive. Masha need to find a place to hide from the wolf, she found a log which she could hide in so she did that. The wolf start sniffing the little mouse and soon found her in the log. "EEeek!" The mouse was more terrified then ever as the wolf break the log little by little, getting closer to Masha.

Masha needed find a way out of the log, she saw an opening which the little mouse was able to get through just before the wolf get a bit out of Masha. She ran, trying to get away from the wolf, but soon hit a dead end. She look behind her to see the wolf inching closer to her, showing its sharp teeth. Masha have no other place to run as the wolf was inches away from Masha, ready to eat here. "P-please don't eat me!" The little mouse closes her eye, waiting for something to happened, but nothing happened.

She slowly opened her eyes to saw the wolf is scared of something, which make Masha confuse. The wolf ran away and the mouse thought what is something that scared the wolf away. Masha looked up and saw a very tall, grey fox creature, standing, and looking down at her with its glowing red eyes. "Eeek!" Masha closes her eyes again, thinking this fox will going to eat. But instead , the fox talk to her instead. "You ok little mouse?" The fox says. "Hmm?" The mouse slowly opened her eyes again, still little bit scared, saw that the fox is not going to hurt her, by reach his hand out to the little mouse. Masha slowly lifting her arm toward the fox's hand. " Don't be shy little mouse" the fox says with it calm voice.

Masha finally touch the fox's hand as he help the little mouse to get back up. "U-umm thanks?" The mouse says, being more confuse why the fox haven't attack her yet. " Don't be scared of me little mouse, you're safe with me now. " The fox says. Soon her fear faded away and now Masha was asking questions to the grey fox. "Why did you save me, I thought every foxes are bad?" "Not true at all, I don't want to see little ones to get hurt, and what your name little mouse?" The grey fox says. "I u-um Masha." The little mouse shyfully says. " That's a cute name for a little mouse" says the fox.

Masha slightly blushed what the grey fox says, but soon stopped and ask the fox again. "Umm thanks? And what your name?" "I'm Rafael, the vampire fox." The fox introduce himself to be an actual vampire fox. "Well thanks to save me back there Rafael." Masha says. " No problem Masha, and by the way, where is your home?" Rafael says. "Actually, my home is an empty walnut." "A walnut? That's silly, maybe I have a better home where you can be safe with me little mouse." Says the fox. "Really, you do?" Masha was surprise that Rafael the fox want to protect her. "Yup, it my house where you can live with me." Says Rafeal.

"That's will be great!" The little mouse was greatful that's she will finally have a safe place to live in, away from wolfs, farmers, and anything bad in the farmlands. "And I know where to get to my house the fastest, here, hold on." Rafael grab Masha and put her on his shoulder. "Thanks Rafael, now that I will finally have a safe place to live." "No problem Masha, now time to head to my house." And so Rafael and Masha have a loving friendship as they headed to Rafael's house. There is no known possibilities that a predator would help save a prey, Rafael show a true kind of kindness.
