I've been wanting to do a scene of a figure sinking down into a dark, crushing ocean for a while. While such an image typically means being lost, or crushed under worries and problems, I decided to take it a more positive direction.
For me, Hope is something I rarely acknowledge or rely on. There's of course the preference for things to work out, but I often opt to seeing how things play out, rather than rely entirely on faith, even if that means drowning.

I'm having a hard time in my life, with my ex breaking up with me because I decided to become a (fat) gainer and exchange fat mass for lean muscle definition... This photo made me cry and... Well, I hope it's okay that I've chosen this as my lock screen on my phone because I want to find hope that I'll recover from this and hope to not be affected when he goes and fucks someone else.
