“Seventh installment for Dethmetal: Betilla was all but sunk as all that remained on the quagmire's surface were her fairy hat and the tufts of hair that trailed behind her as she sank endlessly below, the only remaining sign of even a hint of a struggle were bubbles emerging and bursting all around, but hope seemed all but lost. Will no amount of magic be able to free her from this grim, muddy fate?” – Hefess

Not much to say here, except ‘Blubb’. If things weren’t looking bad enough for poor Betilla in previous pictures, they certainly are now. ;) The cute floating hat, and lovely hair spread behind it, and that beautiful bubbling mud, especially in front of her hat,… I love how it hugs around the base of her hat, while the surface still looks like it’s rolling in towards her, and the angle of her hair makes it look like it’s following her down into the muck. The coloring and shading of the hair really makes it looks like she’s in a deep depression in the mud, with the hair trailing down behind her. The colors and shading really bring out the richness of her hair and the thickness of the mud, especially in those thick bubbles and give a great sense of the surface movement of the mud, and the incredible sink lines really enhance that feeling. I do hope her last save point is somewhere solid. ;)
What do you think? :D
