Well, we're halfway through this month! Keeping it going with Jack having a very rough time next to a certain dragon's hungry gut. Luckily he knows a simple enough solution for that one.
This is also the first story I'm posting with feral Jack as prey! Not something that happens too often in general. Enjoy!
Deep in Ryuu’s cave high up towards a mountaintop the red dragon slumbered away peacefully in his normal spot. His wing laid stretched out next to him like a small tent. Underneath the wing was a slumbering Jack nestled in closely against the dragon’s side. The pair had spent the past couple of days together to catch up, but Jack was likely to leave come morning after a good night of sleep.
All was quiet aside from the gentle snoring of the pair until suddenly a loud growl filled the cave. Jack’s eyes shot open immediately and he lifted his head up. A small fire had been lit away from the wing giving him some light that leaked through a small opening between the dragon’s wing and his body. He rose to his feet and sniffed the air when the growl sounded again right next to him; it was Ryuu’s stomach.
The wolf sighed softly and laid back down and got himself comfortable once more against the dragon’s side as the gut next to him groaned regularly. He rested his head on his paws and shut his eyes trying his best to ignore the obnoxious noises sounding by his ear. Soon the gut quieted down again, and Jack felt himself slipping off back to sleep. But just as dreams were about to take him a lengthy, raucous growl emanated from the dragon’s gut.
Jack stared ahead with a silent fury as the growl persisted for nearly twenty seconds before quieting down again. He waited now, listening intently knowing it was far from done. Sure enough after another few moments the gut groaned again; he decided that was enough. Jack rose to his feet and climbed out from under the dragon’s wing to stand next to his head. He bapped Ryuu’s snout with his paw, “Ryuu, wake up.” The dragon snored away in blissful ignorance of Jack’s dilemma. Jack growled and placed both front paws on Ryuu’s muzzle and shoved, “Wake up, dammit!”
Ryuu groaned and muttered softly in his sleep, stubbornly refusing to wake. Jack finally hopped up onto the dragon’s snout and jumped up and down ceaselessly, “Ryuu! Open your damn eyes! Wake up!” He shouted. Through all his efforts Ryuu’s finally blinked open to stare drowsily at the wolf pouncing on his face. Upon seeing the dragon wake, Jack hopped off his snout and onto the cave floor again.
“Jack? What’s wrong? Where’s your house?” He asked before yawning and using a wing to tiredly wipe the sleep from his eyes.
“Ryuu, I’m not in the mood for your weird fantasy dreams. You and I both know I don’t have a house.” The pair stared at each other for a long moment.
“Why—”
“Your stomach is so noisy that I can’t sleep. I thought something was in the cave at first, but it turns out you’re just hungry apparently,” Jack explained furiously as he paced next to Ryuu’s head to calm himself.
“Oh. Sorry? Guess I should have eaten more. But it’s a bit late to try hunting.” Ryuu folded his paws under his head to rest it on them and watched Jack pace back and forth.
“Yeah, I know it is, Ryuu. Open your mouth. If it means getting a proper night of sleep, I’ll stay in there for the night.” He half-offered and half-demanded.
“Wait a minute. Are you currently shedding?” Ryuu asked suddenly, narrowing his eyes to peer at the wolf, “Because last time I ate you, you were shedding, and I was coughing up your fur for a week.”
“No, I’m not shedding right now, Ryuu. And you’re a fire dragon. If I have that much fur, just make fire in your system to burn it away.”
“It doesn’t work like that, Jack. Your fur is covered in my saliva which also doesn’t get affected by fire. It just gets stuck in me and it’s awful.”
‘Ryuu, I don’t know how, but if you don’t eat me within the next fifteen seconds, I’m going to find a way to eat you first.”
Ryuu furrowed his brow at the thought, but a sudden growl from his gut brought his attention to his apparent hunger. “Fine,” He said with another soft yawn, “But don’t expect me to wake up if you’re not enough and my gut keeps growling.”
“Yeah, yeah. I know. But I should be enough. Now open.” He lightly bapped Ryuu’s snout again. Ryuu huffed in response but obliged and opened his maw just enough for Jack to crawl inside. The wolf ducked inside and lightly strode up to Ryuu’s throat. He contemplated just walking down to start, but figured he had annoyed Ryuu enough already. He laid down and waited for Ryuu.
Ryuu stood still and kept his maw open until he felt Jack settle down inside. With the wolf set down comfortably, he simply raised his tongue up and swallowed once. Jack slid smoothly into his throat and barely made any sort of bulge on the way down. Gradually Jack moved along through the tight passage, not minding the muscles gripping his form all too much and doing his best to see it more like a massage than anything else.
Soon Jack was pushed through the familiar tight ring of muscle into Ryuu’s gut. He slid down the wall with practiced ease to end up on his feet in the center of the dark chamber. He raised his ear back up at the entrance and could already hear Ryuu snoring again. The stomach around him groaned softly, but it was much quieter compared to when he was outside; it seemed he was certainly enough to satisfy for now.
Stepping into the center of the wet chamber Jack spun himself around a few times, kneading the gut gently with his paws before finally laying down. His form sunk gently into the soft flesh and a few juices seeped into his fur, but other than that he was comfy. The wolf yawned softly and rested his head down on his hind paws and soon he drifted back into a peaceful slumber.
