the color of the first spider was picked randomly. It turned out to be pink. I like pink, so I went with it.

While the pink spider turned out cute, there were a few things I didn't like (mostly the fact that people kept thinking it's a squid). So I made mandibles smaller, legs longer and separate, and randomly choose color again. I didn't know what to sew on its abdomen. but then I've got the idea while watching Unus Annus final stream before they deleted the channel. This was also an inspiration to give this spider heterochromia.

so now the blue one's name is Unus Annus, and the pink one was retroactively named Amy. Mostly because of the skull on it's back and not the color (Amy was behind the more... wild ideas during Unus Annus life)
