A continuation and re imagining of Transformers Animated; introducing new characters and plots. Featuring both old and new characters as well as the next generation of various characters.

The youngest clone/child of Prowl, and adopted daughter of Maya.

At the earliest stages of Project Lusus, Longarm2.0 conducted his own experiments in secret based on the reports from Optimus Prime's encounters with the techno-organic Blackarachnia. Discreetly, Lognarm2.0 had Optimus and the original members of his team cloned and converted the clones to techno-organic Beastformers through siphoned AllSpark energy and RNA/DNA grafting.

However, Longarm2.0 had different ideas for cloning the late Prowl, wanting to show that even the dead could provide new life to Cybertron. Nightbird was intended for the Nu-Maximal program, but a Decepticon raid on the lab she was kept in, during the last protoform development stage ended up with her kidnapped into Megatron's forces. She was his first loyal Cyber-Ninja, having retained some of Prowl's memories (as well as a weak connection to the AllSpark) due to her unique cloning process.

Her connection to the AllSpark, although weak, came in the form of voices in her head, telling her the truth to the lies the Decepticons fed her. She always questioned what the voices were, where they came from, and became determined to find out the truth. Once she built a strong reputation and gained the trust of her commanding officers, Nightbird was able to pilot her own ship to escape to Earth to start her search once and for all.
