“This whole ‘Christmas Holiday’ thing is very new to me, but thankfully my friends are helping me to understand it better.

Hula Girl invited us all to her island, and I was the first one to arrive, so we got started. First, we had to put on these strange floppy red hats, which are very soft, but Hula Girl says they are required because they are ‘festive’. Then we had to put strange vines with little glowing lights on them on a palm tree, which as fun,… her monkey Hangtime helped, but ended up getting all tangled up. As we were trying to untangle him our friends Tu Li and Adrian arrived, and since Tu Li is very tall, she said she would help him out, after we gave them both hats too.

Around that time my friend Carissa arrived, dressed in a really cute outfit, something she called a ‘rain-deer’, she said it had to do with the holiday, and she brought with her a large bag, from which she started drawing forth brightly colored and shiny boxes, ‘presents’. And before I knew it, she handed one to me.”

‘There you go, Merry Christmas Ember.’

‘Oh, thank you very much, Carissa, Merry Christmas to you too.’

‘You are most welcome, nyaa! But let’s wait till everyone is here and has a present before we open them, okay?’

‘Open them? Oh, um, sure, yeah we can wait, okay.’

“Open them,… I wonder what is inside,… Yeah, I can wait, no problem,…. Hmm,… this box has some weight to it,… it’s not really heavy, but not light either, I wonder what,… hmm,… what’s that about being tangled? And what is Adrian giggling about? Hmm,… I wonder what is in this,…”

*Shake, shake, shake*

‘Hey everyone! Sorry I’m late,… I brought drinks!’

So, last year I got a holiday picture of Ember & Hula Girl decorating a palm tree, with Hangtime ‘helping.’ Well, since then Ember has come a long way, and made a lot more friends, so this year’s picture needed to be bigger to accommodate them. So from the Chibi stream of  Shonuff44, a picture that took two slots, a lot of coordination, and even more luck, but it was well worth it. Starring my Ember,  shonuff44’s Hula Girl, yuppi12 (https://www.deviantart.com/yuppi12)’s Carissa,  jurgenblue’s Lucia,  rambobrosreloadit’s Tu Li, and  rpx’s Adrian, the girls all together, enjoying the holidays, more or less, and bringing some much needed holiday cheer to this year. :)

I really love how this came out, so festive and adorable,… Hula Girl looks quite happy as she gets a present from Carissa, while Ember looks abit uncertain, shaking her present like a little kid to try to figure out what is inside, before opening it. Lucia looks very cheerful as she brings drinks for everyone, while Tu Li appears abit distressed, as she seems to have gotten herself tangled up in lights, while Adrian just smirks at the predicament, akin to what happened to Hangtime with last year’s picture. Everyone looks so adorable in their santa hats, and I must say I really think Carissa steals the show in this picture, with her super adorable reindeer outfit, as she happily hands out presents, all under the decorated, and very bright, palm tree. And of course, the splash of red that Sho adds during a holiday week really is a great touch, I wasn’t expecting him to include Ember’s hair tips in that too, but I am very happy he did.

Thank you for putting up with this very large picture, and the bit of confusion it caused on the stream, Sho, but it is very much appreciated, and came out great. :) And thank you to everyone that was involved in this great little holiday picture. :)
